Through the Years

Since 2001, MCC has been a pioneer in the commercialization of residues and by-products generated by the mining, metallurgical and chemical processing industries. The group’s expertise in trading ores, concentrates, metals and turning waste products into valuable materials that replace virgin mined materials , along with a commitment to excellence, has earned MCC a reputation of value and service within the industry.

In Guyana since 2004, the company processes and commercializes previously discarded stone resulting from gold mining, as aggregate and dimension stones which are used in construction work and sea defense. The company also produces copper, nickel and gold by-products.

Since 2011 MCC has expanded operations in Tanzania and more recently in Canada where it is engaged in the exploration, development and production of nickel, copper and gold products.

In 2014, MCC expanded beyond traditional trading and entered the e-scrap recycling business acquiring Terra Nova, a company that specialized in printed circuit board recycling in France. Having transformed the Euro-centric French business to a global e-scrap business, MCC sold the newly formed company, Igneo Holdings, in 2022.

As of YE 2023, MCC continues to grow: 130 employees through offices in the US, Peru, Guyana, Canada and Africa, 31 agents, and 100+ consultants and contractors worldwide.
